Welcome to an amazing year!
My fellow state officers and I would like to thank all of the members, advisers, parents, teachers and administrators for their support. Without these contributions, Nevada FBLA would not be as successful, which is why the state team is always encouraging the constituents to voice any comments, questions, or ideas to the officer team. This can be done via Twitter, Facebook, or e-mail.
If you want to know the latest FBLA news, you can follow Nevada FBLA on Twitter or join the group on Facebook. You can also email the officers directly to their “position”@nevadafbla.org (i.e. for President: president@nevadafbla.org). Be sure to regularly check the Nevada FBLA Web site for updates including the newest editions of our newsletter SilverNotes. The officer team will be working hard to make the newsletter useful and exciting!
This year, Nevada FBLA will be “Breaking Barriers” through many great conferences including the Fall Leadership Extravaganzas, regional conferences, State Business Leadership Conference, and National Leadership Conference. By attending these conferences, you will have the opportunity to meet with members, attend workshops, and learn the advantages of being an FBLA member. We strongly encourage members to expand their leadership and networking skills, and remember that you are a representative of your state, school, and yourself!
Remember to check the state Web site, www.nevadafbla.org, and the national Web site, www.fbla-pbl.org, regularly for important information, updates, and events. I feel honored to be working alongside an amazing officer team this year. I know we have the power to achieve more than ever before!
